Type of Racking installed: 2 levels 4-way Super Block Mezzanine System with galvanized metal grating and 1 set of 11-steps staircase. Dimensions of the Super Block are as attached layout:

Type of Racking installed: Black Boltless Racking with additional side and back beams.

Descriptions: Customer requested for racking to store files and books in their office. A total of 16 Black boltless racking were being installed and was completed last November 2010. Additional 2 more racking were installed at the pantry area for the storage of mineral water gallon bottles.

16 sets: 6 Tiers L1800mm x W450mm x H2100mm with additional side and back beams.

Pantry (February)

Type of Racking installed: Silver Black Boltless Racking, Customised Platform

Descriptions: Expansion of the storage space by installing Boltless Racking and customised platforms in 3 different schools – Millenia Institute, Bukit Panjang Government High School and Mayflower Secondary School.

Challenges faced: The fabrication of the odd-shaped customised platforms proved to be a challenge for our team as there were a few columns along the walls. However, our team managed to overcome yet another challenge and completed the job smoothly.

Business Leather products include Jewellery Boxes, Watch Boxes, Wallets, Passport and Key Holders and other leather accessories

Type of Racking installed: 4-way Mezzanine Super Block racking system with an area of 111sqm (level 1) at H2500mm clear entry, (level 2) and H2400mm clear entry (level 3) with forged welded steel gratings.

Descriptions: There was an existing 2 level Rack Supported Mezzanine installed in the warehouse. However, our customer wished to fully utilize and increase the storage space. Hence, our sales consultant and designer came up with a new Rack Supported Mezzanine layout.

Total area of space created for Mitch & Mar is 3 times of its original warehouse storage space. An area at near the shuttle door is being allocated for the forklift access. Hence, goods can be palletized and transfered to the upper decking using the forklift.

Type of Racking installed: Rack-Supported Aisle using Pallet Racking

Descriptions: Expansion of the storage space by installing Pallet Racking system and the rack-supported aisle to the existing racking.

Challenges faced: The installation of the rack-supported aisle was very challenging as the existing MSE rack done had different aisle length. The lengths were also different even on the same aisle. Due to this, other contractors either charge extremely high price or turned down the job. However, our installation team managed to overcome the  obstacles faced and successfully installed the rack supported aisle.

Business Nature: Hardware Equipment

Descriptions: Customer required a racking system that can increase the storage area of the new warehouse located at 50 Tuas Ave 11, Tuas Lot, #02-04.

Type of Racking installed: 2 beam levels of Rack Supported Mezzanine, consisting of approximately 31 sqm per level. Hence, the space created is 3 times the original.

The decking material used for the 2nd level is galvanized steel grating and for the 3rd level, metal planks are used so that trolleys or pallet jack can be used.

Handrails are installed for safety precaution and openings are created for the loading and unloading of goods.

Staircases with handrails are installed to provide access to the 2nd and 3rd level of the racking system.
